1. In your own words, define "necessity."
I believe that the definition for necessity would be the desire of wanting something that is not needed.
2. In your own words, define "luxury."
I believe that Luxury means things with a high value.
3. List the material items you possess that you consider a necessity (aside from food, water, shelter, air).
The items that i have that would be a necessity are a car and shoes just two shoes.
4. List the material items you possess that you consider a luxury.
I think that the material items that i have that are a luxury are the motorcycle,boat,submarine and the two four wheelers.
5. Choose one item from your list of necessities and make an argument for why you can live without it.
I wouldn't ba able to live w/o my car because then i would not be able to travel to places faster.
6. Explain why the item from question 5 is a necessity.
The car is a necessity because without it because with all this modern technology
A consumer is a person who purchases goods and services for personal use.
7. Can a person consume too much (in terms of material goods, not just food)?
I think that a person can consume too much of fashionable things.Their is a point in which a person can consume too much of it buying clothes that they may actually never wear.
8. How does consumption negatively impact the city/country/world?
Consumerism as it can have a positive impact may also have a negative impact this can have a negative impact because things are expensive and break easy which we end up buying more and losing more money.
9. How does consumption positively impact the city/country/world?
Consumerism impacts the world positively because it helps the economy better for the city and country.
